We would like to thank everyone that attended our technology workshop earlier this month, at the new Marriot Hotel in Leicester.

Hosted by ourselves, RDC Communications and Aurora Technology, the aim of the free seminar was to educate our clients and other interested parties in a number of issues including "Choosing a Web Design Partner" "Voice Over IP" and "Virtual Private Networks".

Holding two sessions during the day, the event was a great success with over 30 businesses attending.

It was great to meet you all, and look forward to seeing some of you again at our event in September…

Countesthorpe College is a 14-19 Specialist Technology College in the South Leicestershire Area offering a broad and balanced curriculum at both GCSE and Post 16 level including: GCSE, Advanced, and Vocational courses.

Studio 2 worked with the College to completely redevelop their existing website giving it a more interesting and approachable look, for would be students interested in learning more about the College’s facilitites, along with existing students and their parents to log in to secure information areas.

Also created for the website is a flash College Virtual Tour to walkthrough all the departments, and an interactive zoom map for easy directions to the college!

Leisureshack is the online arm of Leicester based Parkers "The Parts People", and had been running a reasonable profit with their current site, but felt so much more could be achieved.

As featured in March's newsletter, Studio 2 worked with Parkers to completely redesign the site, both in the look and feel, but also how the whole site worked and was managed.

Now, three months post launch, we are pleased to report that sales have gone absolutely through the roof. Comparing sales figures from May 05 to May 06, online sales have increased by over 1000%.

The Wellbeing Clinic based in Nottingham has been helping people since 1991 with a range of therapies – both for businesses and individuals. We will be developing a corporate website for Wellbeing.

PAL International are the world’s leading brand and manufacturer of chefs’ headwear, hygiene workwear and disinfectant wipes. PAL are looking to add a new range of features for their new site including buying online.

Featherstone Education are a book publisher specialising in educational books for Adults who work with young children. An old Studio 2 customer, Featherstone began working with another partner last year but have since returned to us having found that Studio 2's level of service cannot be matched elsewhere! We will be developing a new e-commerce website for them so watch this space ....
