As a direct result of feedback from our first client forum, Studio 2 online are streamlining their processes to make the management of your projects more efficient.

Account Managers are being introduced this year who will be responsible for your projects from start to finish; no more disjointed handovers or confusion about who to talk to. This new system will allow the account managers to be aware of the progress of individual projects and be a main point of contact throughout.

This is one of the many small changes that will benefit our clients; here’s to an exciting 2007!

Trusted uniform manufacturer, Grahame Gardner Ltd have recently launched a new uniform collection which takes its inspiration from the High Street. Vitality, The Designerwear Collection, has been enthusiastically received by health and beauty professionals due to its fashionable yet practical styles and its use of contemporary fabrics.

As well as full ecommerce capabilities, it was also a requirement that customers could create and preview their own 'made-to-order' garment designs as well as buying from a standard 'in-stock' range. In addition, there was a requirement for customers to be able to save several products (such as complete uniforms) into a personal 'portfolio'.

Due to the exciting changes afoot we are looking for four additions to our team. We require:

A Web Developer with two years commercial experience, with knowledge of PHP and a strong understanding of internet technologies, web accessibility and database design.

A Junior Web Developer with a good understanding and enthusiasm for building websites.

An Account Manager who will be responsible for a wide portfolio of clients and will manage the portfolio as though managing your own business. They will be the link between the client and Studio 2 Online’s studio, responsible for liaising with the team internally and helping to guide the client through the project. Strong problem solving capabilities and ability to work within the team are essential for all roles at Studio 2.

And an Administration Assistant with previous office experience, to help with the day-to-day running of the office including reception duties, handling post, banking, filing, correspondence and general administrative support.

Featherstone Education are providers of educational materials for children from birth up to the age of eight. Their aim is to provide high quality, practical, cost effective publications which support national and local initiatives. Their main focus is helping practitioners and others interpret and implement government strategies for young children (up to the end of Key Stage 1).

Featherstone have had a longstanding relationship with Studio 2, who designed their previous site. However, it was felt that it was time for an updated look, so we set to work on a brand new design.

The site incorporates a large online bookshop with full ecommerce facilities, as well as information about the organisation and its activities.

February sees the return of the E-Commerce Club. As ever, the club is held on the second Tuesday of the month and the topic to be covered this month is Pay Per Click Campaigns. This topic scored highly on the level of interest from our client forum and will uncover how to make your site available to thousands with a small investment.

Tea and biscuits will be served on arrival with an opportunity to meet and discuss opportunities and successes across industries with like-minded individuals.

Window Wallpaper are an online retailer of frosted window films, an innovative, cost-effetcive and easy way to create an etched glass look for windows, door panels and any glass surface.

Their existing site needed a redesign to make it more attractive and user-friendly, which Studio 2 were able to acheive through the use of strong colours and a easy to use, effective user interface.

Since the launch of the redeveloped web site, Window Wallpaper has experienced a huge growth in sales.

Studio 2 Online have teamed up with Concentrix to offer QlikView, an incredibly powerful, yet flexible reporting tool. If you have inhouse systems and spend more than 10 minutes creating reports then QlikView is the product for you.

Concentrix offer a 1 hour challenge, where they visit your office, load your data and build a sample report. All this within 1 hour, and you keep the report and the software for a full 15 day evaluation period.
