Maximising your website visibility

Despite being an old dog I'm always up for new tricks. I've recently been chewing (and slobbering!) over the pro's and con's of natural search engine optimisation (SEO) and pay per click (PPC). Although SEO is the way to go as a long term strategy, PPC certainly has a place for more tactical internet marketing purposes. In other words, they are complimentary rather than being in direct competition with each other.

Just to clarify for any internet pups out there, natural SEO results are what you see on the left hand of a Google search page, whilst PPC (Google Adwords) are what you see at the top and to the right of a search page.
