Due to our continued growth, Studio 2 Online, Leicester's largest web agency, are looking to recruit a talented web developer/programmer to work with their existing developers. The role has excellent growth prospects within the company and the successful candidate will be given full training and support.

Job Title: SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER/PROGRAMMER
Hours: 37.5 hours per week flexi-time

Studio 2 Online are searching for the right person to lead their existing 2 developers. In this role you'll help mentor existing developers whilst also working alongside the Technical Manager to ensure the studio produces the best possible technical solutions. With this role there are excellent opportunities to progress in the company.


Responsibilities and duties:
  • Overseeing of general programming of studio
  • Responsible for quality of programming produced by studio
  • Responsible for ensuring the processes, methods and applications used by the studio are the most suitable
  • Programming of websites using PHP
  • Creation of scripts to interact with MySql & MS SQL databases
  • Creating e-commerce websites for clients using an e-commerce system
  • Creating scripts to manipulate & import products into e-commerce websites
  • Integrating e-commerce websites with payment gateways
  • Creating ColdFusion scripts/code to manipulate e-commerce system
  • Working with existing Content Management System to create websites
  • Ongoing maintenance and development of existing PHP based systems

Experience preferred:

Strong commercial experience of web programming using PHP (minimum of 2 years), with a minimum of 4 years commercial programming experience within the industry. Strong understanding of internet technologies, web accessibility, MySQL & MS SQL databases and database design all essential. Knowledge of ColdFusion preferred.

Salary: £25-35,000 depending on experience + benefits
